Pistons Owner Tom Gores announced that the team will begin playing at the new Little Caesars Arena starting next season. This is a historic move that will be great for our fans, for our franchise and for the continued revitalization of Detroit.

Detroit will become the only city in America with all four major professional sports teams located in the heart of its downtown core, further cementing our position as one of the best sports towns in the nation.

Pistons fans have a lot to look forward to at Pistons games downtown:

  • A dramatic arena bowl with great sightlines that put fans closer to the action.
  • Increased pregame and postgame entertainment opportunities with all of the new restaurants and gathering locations connected to The District Detroit – a new world-class sports and entertainment development revitalizing 50 blocks around the arena.
  • All-inclusive club spaces with enhanced luxury and amenities, parking, and food and drink options.
  • State-of-the-art technology that includes WiFi capabilities with greater bandwidth, mobile ticketing, wayfinding, high-definition video and smart phone mobile applications that will take you from street to seat.
  • The "Via Concourse" — an indoor street-style shopping and dining experience surrounding the arena bowl that is activated on game nights and will be open to the community all year-round.

What can I expect at Little Caesars Arena?

Little Caesars Arena is part of The Detroit District, a 50-block neighborhood that will house multiple sport complexes and entertainment destinations. The arena itself features upgraded sightlines putting you closer to the on-court action, state of the art concourses, restrooms and dining options, and premium hospitality amenities that are unrivaled in professional sports.

SEATING PRIORITY

I want priority for seats in Little Caesars Arena. What's the difference between becoming a 2016-17 member now and simply placing a deposit for the 2017-18 season?

By becoming a Pistons member now, you'll experience the final season of NBA basketball at The Palace of Auburn Hills and receive priority access to relocate with the team to downtown Detroit in 2017-18. You'll have first access to securing a seat location in Little Caesars Arena through our reseating process. By placing a deposit for the 2017-18 season, you will receive access to secure a seat location in Little Caesars Arena when the reseating process is complete.

What types of deposits can be placed?

You can place a deposit based on the type of seat location that you would like to receive in Little Caesars Arena. For upper level seats, deposits are $250/seat; lower level seats are $500/seat. Club level seating and courtside seat deposits are $1,000/seat. Your deposit will give you priority seat access to the same type of location that you selected after our current Pistons member reseating process is complete. Deposits are non-refundable and will be placed based on type of location requested and in order in which they are received.

What seating priority will I have in Little Caesars Arena?

All 2016-17 Pistons members will have the opportunity to relocate into full season seat locations before we place general public deposits for the 2017-18 season in Little Caesars Arena. You will be offered a seat location that is comparable to your location at The Palace, subject to availability. Priority will be based on your account tenure and type of membership.

I am a current Pistons member. What do I need to do to prepare for The Pistons move to downtown Detroit?

Over the next several months, you will be contacted by a Member Service Manager who will walk you through the reseating process. We are excited for our future in downtown Detroit and look forward to assisting you and answering all of your questions.

I'm already a member, what seating priority will I have in Little Caesars Arena?

All 2016-17 Pistons members will have reseating priority for the 2017-18 season in Little Caesars Arena. You will be offered a seat location that is comparable to your location at The Palace. Priority will be based on your account tenure and type of membership.

How will the reseating process work for current Pistons members?

You will receive communication from your Member Service Manager who will set up an appointment to discuss your 2017-18 seat location. Appointments can be set up in person or over the phone.

When will I hear from my Member Service Manager about my reseating opportunity?

You will receive frequent communication over the coming months about the reseating process. We hope to start the process as soon as possible. It will take several months to complete, but we will do our best to be efficient. The entire process will be wrapped up by the summer of 2017.

What if I can't get back to the Pistons representative right away?

Our goal is to have all our members join us at our new home! With that in mind, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure you are provided with a sufficient amount of time to respond to your Pistons representative regarding your reseating opportunity. Please be aware that these offers are time sensitive so we ask that you respond at your earliest convenience.
